A fruit tree name. Both flowers and leaves resemble plum. Fruit is sweet when yellow and ripe, not sour. The kernel is flat and pointed, especially fragrant and delicious, also used medicinally. The nut is called 白果, edible. The wood is solid and can be made into implements.
