栄 is the everyday character: to flourish, to thrive, and by extension glory. It carries 繁栄 (prosperity), 栄光 (glory) and 栄誉 (honor), and as a verb 栄える means for a place or a family to prosper. 榮 is the same character in its pre-war form, kept now for names and older signage.

隆 is prosperity as rising. 隆盛 is a period of flourishing and 隆起 is ground swelling upward; the character suggests an ascent rather than a state, and it is very common in men’s given names (Takashi, Ryū). 穣 is agricultural prosperity — a rich harvest, as in 豊穣, abundance of crops.

賑 is the visible, audible kind: 賑わい is a bustle of people and 賑やか means lively and crowded. It describes a busy shopping street, not a bank balance. 壮 sits apart from the rest — it means robust, vigorous, grand (壮大, 壮健), and it reaches a list like this through vigor rather than through wealth or flourishing.

Before you use Prosperity kanji

栄 is the safe single character and is used as a name (Sakae, Ei). 賑 is warm but reads as a crowded, bustling scene rather than wealth. 壮 will not be read as prosperity at all — it says robust or grand. 榮 is the old form of 栄, not a different word.
