A fish name. White with black spots. Large mouth with fine scales. Large head. Fin spines are hard and strong. Lives between salt water and fresh water. In late spring, it swims upstream. In autumn, it enters the sea. Large ones reach two feet. What was anciently called 銀鱸 (silver bass), 玉花鱸 (jade flower bass) all refer to this. Also, the four-gilled bass of Songjiang, since the Wei and Jin dynasties, has been called a famous product. Similar in appearance to 吐附魚. Only five to six inches large. Most fat and delicious around the winter solstice. This is a separate species.
