A fish name. Flat and plump body. Large scales. Two pairs of whiskers at the front of the mouth. Blue-black back. Pale yellow belly. Large ones are over three feet long. Tang people sending letters often folded a foot of silk into the shape of two carp. Hence letters are called 鯉. | A fish name.
