Place name. In Han Dynasty, the southwestern Yi people had the Qiongdu Kingdom, located in present-day eastern Qinghai. On its border is Mount Qionglai, located west of present-day Rongjing County. It produces bamboo suitable for walking sticks, called 邛杖 (Qiong canes). Also written as 笻. Also, Qionglai County in Sichuan was the location of the former Qiongzhou. Southwest of it is also Mount Qionglai, which is the ancient Mount Linqiong.
