    XSZD Xuéshēng Zìdiǎn (學生字典) - Student's Dictionary

    An ancient wine vessel. Holds two sheng. Appears in the Analects commentary. Another says holds three sheng. Appears in "Rites of Zhou." | Edges and corners. Such as six corners is called 六觚. Eight corners is called 八觚. Appears in "Book of Han." Also 破觚為圓 (breaking corners to make round) means changing from square to round, not being rigid. From "Records of the Grand Historian." | Bamboo tablets. Ancients used them to write characters. Therefore referring to someone writing hastily is called 率爾操觚 (rashly taking up the tablets).
