    One of the chemical elements. Obtained from cattle and sheep bones. Ignites upon exposure to air. Now commonly used in matches, hence Japanese call them 燐寸 (phosphorus sticks). Because it emits light by itself, it is colloquially called 鬼火 (ghost fire), though this is actually incorrect.
